Introduction

 I believe that I have many interesting experiences as a Mormon missionary in Brazil from 1990 to 1991. I have been telling friends about my experiences and they have been encouraging me to write about those experiences. 

Note, I am a former Mormon. It is not my intention to be negative or denigrate the LDS church however, as a former Mormon, I believe that I have an interesting perspective. 

I am now a non-denominational Christian. Many of my experiences as a Mormon missionary lead me to traditional Christianity 21 years after I returned from Brazil. 

I don't consider myself to be an eloquent writer. I try to write the way I speak. I write extemporaneous. I encourage correction and I encourage constructive debate and criticism. I hope what I write is interesting, entertaining, and helps lead people to the Biblical Christ.

 Before I write anything about my experiences, I make a few assumptions about what you already know about the Mormons. I assume you know about their health code, called the Word of Wisdom, which admonishes Mormons to abstain from alcohol, tobacco, coffee, and tea. You may know about the practice of polygamy.
